Gold Humanism Honor Society
The College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Department of Behavioral Medicine, Medical Humanities and Bioethics are proud sponsors of the Gold Humanism Honor Society Chapter at Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences.
The Gold Humanism Honor Society honors senior medical students, residents, role-model physician teachers and other exemplars recognized for “demonstrated excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion and dedication to service.” Only the second college of osteopathic medicine sanctioned by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation, the college inducted its inaugural group of 30 members in July 2008.
