Primary Care

The College of Osteopathic Medicineโ€™s Department of Primary Care is comprised of experienced clinician faculty specializing in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Osteopathic Manual Medicine. We are dedicated to teaching the osteopathic medical students of today how to become competent osteopathic physicians of tomorrow.

We fulfill our mission through the classes that we teach, the clerkships we supervise and the coordination of extracurricular clinical opportunities for students in the community. Collectively, our department members have extensive teaching experience in training students and residents in both the classroom and patient care settings. Because we care for patients, we bring โ€œreal-world scenariosโ€ to the students, whom we see as our future colleagues.
