About the OTD Program
The Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences prepares students to become highly-skilled, compassionate occupational therapists who improve health and quality of life across diverse communities. The program combines classroom learning, hands-on labs, clinical fieldwork and a hybrid flexible approach. Students graduate ready to provide patient-centered care, advance the profession and meet growing workforce needs in occupational therapy.
