Stationery

Stationery items are an important part of Des Moines University’s brand standards. Consistency in design, use of color and typography is essential as these materials help project a strong, unified image of the university with a variety of audiences. Stationery items include business cards, envelopes and letterhead.

When using university stationery, be sure to use proper mailing and return addresses, as described in our Editorial Style Guide.

All printed and electronic stationery items must comply with DMU brand standards. All printed stationery items may be ordered through Brand on Demand. You’ll need to log in using SSO.

Templates for electronic letterhead (not for printing) and electronic signatures may be downloaded from the Templates and Resources page.

University stationery may not be used for personal matters or non-university business. Registered student organizations do not conduct official university business and may not use university stationery.

Business Cards

  • Ordering Business Cards

    Business cards can be ordered via Brand on Demand.

  • Business Card Branding

    The business cards’ design should not be altered in terms of the order of content, font, formatting or use of the logo. Additional information, such as a second title or degree, may be added.

  • No Unnecessary Additions

    Philosophical statements or inspirational quotes are not allowed on the back of the business card.

Additional images or badges, such as another organization’s logo, are prohibited on DMU business cards.
