OMM Fellowship

The Osteopathic Manual Medicine Fellowship at Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences is led by the Department of Osteopathic Clinical Medicine’s Osteopathic Manual Medicine Section. Each year, four students are selected for the program based on their expertise and skill in osteopathic manual medicine.

OMM fellows gain hands-on experience caring for patients with diverse medical concerns, including musculoskeletal disorders. They also contribute to the academic community by delivering lectures to first- and second-year medical students, teaching and assisting in labs and presenting to local and national audiences. Additionally, fellows engage in research projects that explore key topics in osteopathic principles and practice.

Participants receive a partial tuition waiver and a monthly stipend during the program.
