Dr. Michelle Brown is the center coordinator of clinical education and an assistant professor in the Des Moines University Department of Physical Therapy. Her current clinical practice focuses on orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, balance and fall prevention. Prior to joining DMU, she was the director of a PT clinic where she treated patients with a variety of conditions including; orthopedic diagnoses, neurological disorders, generalized weakness and work related injuries. She also spent three years in rural Jamaica doing pro bono physical therapy, treating a wide range of patients with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. Dr. Brown graduated from Des Moines University in 1999 with a master of science in physical therapy and earned her doctor of physical therapy degree from the University of New England in 2016.
