Mia is a licensed and certified athletic trainer at the DMU Physical Therapy Clinic and Sports Performance Center at the MidAmerican RecPlex in West Des Moines. Her clinical emphasis is on injury prevention, emergency care and enhancement of athletic performance. She enjoys helping all athletes achieve their fitness goals. Mia graduated from the University of Iowa with a Master of Science degree in athletic training, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in exercise science. She was a member of the Iowa Dance Team and has a passion for teaching dancers.
