After commencement, there will be changes that will affect your DMU laptop and access to some DMU services. These changes will occur on June 30.
Office 365 Email
Once your status changes from student to alumnus, your login name for your email account will also change. Currently your login name is [DMUusername]@student.dmu.edu.
If you are accessing email after June 30, you will use [DMU username]@alumni.dmu.edu.
Office 365 License
Your Office 365 Pro Plus license through Des Moines University will expire on June 30. You will keep your email access, but will no longer have access to any other Office 365 services. This includes, but is not limited to, Office Pro Plus (Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive etc).
Campus Printing
Access to campus printers and your printing credits will expire on June 30. No refunds and/or transfers will be given for any unused print credits. Please perform all campus printing prior to June 30.
Solutions Hub Support
After June 30, your DMU Solutions Hub support will become limited. The Solutions Hub will be available to answer general questions, but support for your laptop will end on June 30.
Laptop Manufacturer Warranty
DMU hardware support will end on June 30. You may still be able to contact the manufacturer directly for any warranty or part related claims.
