You play a key role in educating DMU students and serving people around the world when you participate in the university’s global health program. DMU Global Health offers several opportunities for students.
Service trips: DMU students can go on an international or domestic service trip to learn about the social determinants of health and to experience healthcare in another setting/context.
Pathways of Distinction Internships: These highly selective research opportunities enable students to explore global health research topics at various organizations, such as PAHO or the CDC.
International rotations and internships: DMU currently has 13 active sites in 10 countries worldwide where students can choose to do an elective rotation or an internship.

In order to regain access to the DMU Wellness Center please complete the Wellness Center Consent & Release form.
Once completed, contact the Security Office at 515-271-1595 to schedule an appointment to update or renew your ID badge. The office is located in Ryan Hall. If you still have your student ID, there will be a $10 administrative fee to bring it up-to-date (credit or debit card only). If you need a new ID, the cost will be $25. Once you have completed those steps, you will have access to the facility with your badge. Please note, the badge will be required to enter the facility each and every time.
