Get Involved and Lead
As a Doctor of Physical Therapy student, you have a number of ways to get involved on campus.
- The student-led Physical Therapy Club enhances learning and leadership while connecting you to the profession through events such as National Physical Therapy Month activities and community service initiatives, including volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, supporting athletes at the Special Olympics and participating in the SCI Golf Outing.
- You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to campuswide leadership through the DMU Student Government Association, which brings together representatives from every degree program to shape student life and advocate for meaningful change.
- Additional student organizations — such as the Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Sports Medicine, Neurology, Oncology and Preventive Medicine clubs — allow you to explore specialty interests and align your professional development with your future career goals.
