Get Involved and Lead
- Our student-led Anatomy Ambassadors Program is open to students passionate about anatomy and teaching. You’ll have the opportunity to deliver interactive organ demonstrations at DMU and throughout Central Iowa, engaging audiences from elementary students to undergraduates. Through STEM events, career fairs and community outreach programs, you’ll gain meaningful, hands-on teaching experience while helping inspire the next generation of health professionals.
- The Master’s Advisory Group to the Anatomy and Biomedical Sciences promotes scholarly engagement, professional growth and interprofessional collaboration across programs.
- Each year, students have the opportunity to participate in DMU’s body donation remembrance service — a powerful tradition that honors the individuals who have donated their bodies to support the education of DMU students.
- You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to campuswide leadership through the DMU Student Government Association, which brings together representatives from every degree program to shape student life and advocate for meaningful change.
- Additional student organizations — including the DMU Choir, Sports Medicine Club or Pride Alliance — provide opportunities to connect with peers, pursue shared interests and build lifelong relationships.
