Step-by-Step Guide to DMU’s Admissions Process

    Choose Your Track

    Non-Thesis Track

    Applications for the Master of Science in Anatomy non-thesis track are submitted directly through the Post Baccalaureate Centralized Application Service. Applications are reviewed once they are verified and complete.

    Thesis Track

    Applicants are highly encouraged to contact the professor they are interested in working with before applying.

    Applications to the Master of Science in Anatomy thesis track program are submitted directly through the Post Baccalaureate Centralized Application Service. Applications are reviewed once they are verified and complete.

    Application Timing

    DMU uses rolling admissions. We recommend you apply and submit application materials early in the cycle.

    • The application to the MSA program opens in August.
    • For your best consideration, we recommend that you submit all materials by early July.
    • Applications are reviewed once they are complete and/or verified.

    Application Process

    1. Review the Requirements for Admission

    Review the MSA program’s admission requirements before proceeding.

    2. Submit Your PostBacCAS Application

    Applicants apply through PostBacCAS.

    All supporting documents may be submitted through PostBacCAS. The personal statement/essay should address motivation for joining the MSA program. Because transcripts and test scores may take several weeks to process by PostBacCAS, we strongly recommend that you begin your application before the July deadline.

    3. Submit Additional Materials

    In addition to the PostBacCAS application, you must submit:

    Official Transcripts

    Submit all official transcripts to PostBacCAS. Official transcripts should list all prior undergraduate and graduate coursework, including grades and degrees. Transcripts must be from a regionally accredited college or university within the United States.

    Evaluations/References

    Please provide contact information for a minimum of three references. Evaluations may come from a professor, academic advisor, employer, supervisor or mentor.

    Official Test Scores (optional)

    Send your official MCAT, GRE or DAT scores to PostBacCAS(DMU’s code for PostBacCAS is 4414). Submission of official test scores is optional.

    Admissions Decisions

    An interview is required for admission. Currently, interviews are offered virtually.
