Dr. Lauren Plum is a physical therapist and board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist in the Des Moines University Physical Therapy Clinic. Her clinical emphasis is on the management of orthopedic conditions, pelvic health, dry needling, manual therapy, performing arts physical therapy, and peripartum care. She has extensive experience as a credentialed clinical instructor for physical therapy students and has frequently presented on physical therapy topics to medical providers and community members. Dr. Plum graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with her bachelor of science degree in health management, with an option in exercise science, in 2007 and then earned her doctor of physical therapy degree from the University of Iowa in 2009.
