Carey Johnson Wennerstrom, D.O.’08, ABFM, ABOIM, ABIHM

Carey Johnson Wennerstrom, D.O.’08, ABFM, ABOIM, ABIHM, successfully completed all of the requirements for certification in integrative medicine through the American Board of Integrative Medicine. That certification enables her to present herself as a qualified medical specialist in the practice of integrative medicine. She owns and operates McDonagh Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, an integrative clinic established at its current site in 1977. Wennerstrom also is a major in the U.S. Air Force Air National Guard at Rosecrans Air Force Base in St. Joseph, MO, where she has been assigned the past eight years. She and her husband, David, are expecting their first child in December.
