Karl “Fritz” Disque, D.O.’07, R.Ph.

Karl “Fritz” Disque, D.O.’07, R.Ph., in February visited his undergraduate alma mater, Purdue University, to share his personal journey with students and faculty. A practicing cardiac anesthesiologist at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in Illinois, he co-founded National Health Care Provider Solutions (NHCPS), an online medical education company that provides health care professionals with basic life support, pediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiac life support courses; its proceeds support medical care and education in underserved countries through the Disque Foundation. The foundation’s Save A Life Initiative, in cooperation with NHCPS, has a mission of empowering a million people to save a life by the year 2020. Disque received Purdue’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 2013.
