Robert Suter, D.O.’89, M.H.A., FAAEM, FACEP, FACOEP-D, FIFEM

Robert Suter, D.O.’89, M.H.A., FAAEM, FACEP, FACOEP-D, FIFEM, served as the senior executive committee member of the Eighth Mediterranean Emergency Medicine Congress (MEMC) Sept. 5-9 in Rome. MEMC is a collaboration of the Mediterranean Academy of Emergency Medicine, the Global Research on Acute Conditions Team (GREAT) and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He also had an article published in the British Medical Journal 2015:351:h:3786, titled “Real-World Effectiveness of Warfarin among Ischemic Stroke Patients with Atrial Fibrillation: An Observational Analysis from the Patient-Centered Research into Outcomes Stroke Patients Prefer and Effectiveness Research (PROSPER) Study.” Past president of the DMU Alumni Association Board of Directors, Suter is professor of emergency medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
