Tomorrow, October 17, our global health department and the Heartland Global Health Consortium, partnered with Pioneer and Iowa’s Healthiest State Initiative, are again hosting their annual thought-provoking conference. This year’s topic, “partnering for a healthy ecosphere,” is sure to put your mind to work.
The event will kick off at 9 a.m. and will include various speakers, lunch and student poster presentations. DMU students, faculty, staff, and adjunct global health faculty and students and faculty from HGHC member schools (Central College, Des Moines University, Drake University, Iowa State University, Mercy College of Health Science, Simpson College, University of Iowa, University of Northern Iowa and William Penn University) and community members are also invited to attend.
