Barry Braver, DO, recognized with trustee emeritus status following years of service to the university

Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences has appointed two new members to its Board of Trustees and recognized longtime trustee Barry Braver, DO, a 1979 graduate of DMU’s Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program, as a trustee emeritus.

The board recognized Braver for his years of dedicated service and leadership through the emeritus designation, which acknowledges former trustees whose commitment and contributions have made a lasting impact on DMU.

Joining the board are Matthew McKinney, JD, and Gary Stuck, DO, FAAFP, a 1983 graduate of DMU’s DO program. They bring extensive experience in health care, business, public service and governance to the board.

“Dr. Stuck and Mr. McKinney bring exceptional experience and leadership to the board,” says Angela L.
