Irvin Benowitz, D.O.’76, M.S.

Irvin Benowitz, D.O.’76, M.S., is a practicing geriatrician with Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. He also serves as medical director of AAA Comprehensive Healthcare Inc., a federally qualified health center in North Hollywood that serves individuals with limited access to health care, including low-income, uninsured and under-insured people. Board-certified in geriatric medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and in family medicine/OMT and preventive medicine-aerospace medicine by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons, Benowitz is a chief physician and chief flight surgeon on retirement from the U.S. Air Force, holding the rank of colonel.
