Kathy Goetz, M.H.A.’12

Kathy Goetz, M.H.A.’12, was appointed market vice president of Women’s Services and MercyOne Children’s Hospital, part of MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. In her new role, she is responsible for the leadership and direction of MercyOne Children’s Hospital and MercyOne Maternity and Infants’ Care. She will develop and guide strategies to encourage efficiency and future growth. Previously, Goetz was appointed vice president of perioperative and specialty services in 2013. From 2014 through July 2018, she was also the administrator of MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center. Goetz has also served as interim chief nursing officer.
