Robert Goecker, D.P.M.’96

Robert Goecker, D.P.M.’96, received Sarasota, FL, Memorial Hospital’s Physician EXCEL Award for the second quarter of 2018. The award recognizes physicians who exemplify excellence in their work, on the basis of nominations from their peers and other hospital emplyees. Staff praised his superior technical skills, vast knowledge of therapies and wonderful bedside manner. Named chief of podiatric foot and ankle surgery at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in 2012, Goecker practices at West Coast Podiatry Center P.A. in southwest Florida. In addition to caring for patients in the West Coast Podiatry Center offices and performing surgeries at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, he lectures extensively on topics related to foot and ankle surgery for other podiatric physicians nationwide. He is on the faculty of the Podiatry Institute and is a featured lecturer at conferences such as Florida Podiatric Medical Association’s annual Science and Management Conference.
