William Vandivier, D.O.’03

William Vandivier, D.O.’03, was appointed chief physician executive and president of Mercy Clinics of Mercy Medical Center-Des Moines. He had served in these roles on an interim basis. Vandivier manages Mercy Clinics’ multi-specialty physician enterprise of more than 400 providers. He provides strategic direction on physician enterprise activities, represents providers in organizational decisions, drives quality goals across the system and assists in integration with the statewide network. Board-certified in family practice and clinical informatics, he began his career with Mercy in 2006, serving as a physician and in a number of leadership roles at Mercy and its sponsor, Catholic Health Initiatives, of Englewood, CO.
