Scott Doherty, D.P.M.’01

Scott Doherty, D.P.M.’01, was featured March 14 on Providence Hospital’s Facebook page as one of its “5 Star Award winners” for patient satisfaction as determined by a survey performed by an external consultant. Doherty is a podiatrist at Providence Medical Group-Snow Road office in Mobile, AL. He completed his residency training at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Baltimore and additional training at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD; Maryland Shock Trauma Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore; and Womack Army Hospital in Fort Bragg, NC. He provides care for injuries and ailments of the lower leg, ankle and foot, and he has special interests in sports medicine, diabetic foot care, pediatrics, geriatrics, trauma and elective surgical cases.
