Bradley K. Hiatt, D.O.’97, is the 2017 honorary chair of Strands of Strength, a nonprofit organization formed to provide Iowa cancer patients in financial need new wigs to cover the hair loss most associated with treatment. It’s a partnership of oncology professionals who screen patients and inform them of Strands of Strength; salons that order and fit wigs for patients; donors and volunteers. Hiatt is an oncologist with Medical Oncology and Hematology Associates of Iowa, based in Des Moines.
