Christopher Unrein, D.O.’88, FACOI, FACP, CMD

Christopher Unrein, D.O.’88, FACOI, FACP, CMD, was selected by vote to be the next COMPAC chairman at the Colorado Medical Society’s (CMS) annual meeting. COMPAC is the society’s nonpartisan political action committee that reviews, endorses and supports both local and national political candidates that advocate for physicians’ issues and patients. Beginning in January, he will become the newest member of the American Board of Osteopathic Internal Medicine (AOBIM). Unrein is a professor of internal medicine at Rocky Vista University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as chief academic officer of the Rocky Mountain Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institute and medical director of its outpatient internal medicine residency clinic. He is past president of the Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine, the Colorado Medical Society and the Colorado Society of Internal Medicine. He also is a professor of clinical internal medicine at the University of Colorado-Denver School of Medicine.
