Patricia Banwart, D.O.’85, was awarded life membership in the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association (IOMA) during its annual conference and scientific seminar held in Des Moines May 4-7. The honor is granted by the IOMA Board of Trustees to regular or honorary members who are 70 and older and who have been an IOMA member in good standing for 25 years. Banwart has practiced at the Family Practice Clinic in West Bend for 30 years. Headquartered in Des Moines, IOMA represents the more than 1,000 osteopathic physicians practicing in Iowa.
