Dale Andres, D.O.’73, was awarded life membership in the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association (IOMA) during its annual conference and scientific seminar held in Des Moines May 4-7. The honor is granted by the IOMA Board of Trustees to regular or honorary members who are 70 and older and who have been an IOMA member in good standing for 25 years. Andres is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Pathology and the American Board of Pathology and served as chief pathologist at Pathology Associates at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. IOMA represents the more than 1,000 osteopathic physicians practicing in Iowa.
