Elliot Ames, D.O.’73

Elliot Ames, D.O.’73, received the prestigious Physician of the Year award from the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (NJAOPS) during the Atlantic Regional Osteopathic Convention held in Atlantic City, NJ, April 5-8. Recipients of the award must be active in promoting the public health of the community or state; supporting high standards of osteopathic education; contributing to the advancement of the osteopathic profession in New Jersey; and supporting scientific research through the profession. They also must have active membership in the NJAOPS, the American Osteopathic Association and their county society for at least 10 years. Ames specializes in hand surgery and is based in Cherry Hill, NJ.
