Cynthia Hoq, D.O.’14

Cynthia Hoq, D.O.’14, is one of six female physician leaders on the Iowa Medical Society (IMS) Board of Directors; she was featured in the society’s e-newsletter in October and on its website. Hoq is a family medicine resident at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines and the IMS resident director. She and her husband, Suman, own HoQ Restaurant in Des Moines’ East Village. Previously a professional mountain biker and ski instructor, Hoq enjoys biking, skiing and kayaking, traveling, playing piano and cooking.
