Jon Westcot, D.O.’91, recently released a rock album titled “Desert Highway” (Purple Mountain Records), an achievement he described as a “lifelong dream” as well as “as grueling as medical school.” The album is available on iTunes and via his website, www.jonwestcot.com. He began playing the guitar at age 12 and started taking finger-style lessons his first year of medical school. Westcot is a psychiatrist with the University of Colorado-Denver and provides services to the Colorado Department of Corrections.
