Steven Harder, D.O.’88

Steven Harder, D.O.’88, joined DMU on Aug. 3 as assistant professor of family medicine, working both in the University’s family medicine clinic and on the academic team. He completed a rotating internship at Northwest General Hospital in Milwaukee, WI, and a family medicine residency with the Northeast Family Practice Foundation in Waterloo, IA. Prior to joining DMU, Dr. Harder established a distinguished career in Spring Valley, MN, where he was with the same practice since 1991. He saw patients in a local hospital through 1996 and in the clinic and nursing home settings through 2015. He served as department chair of the South Branch Clinic and as medical director for multiple local institutions and nursing homes.
