Richard Shaffer, D.O.’69, in May received the Life Service Award of the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association, which recognizes active IOMA members who have spent the greater part of their lives delivering health care to Iowans, utilizing osteopathic practice and principles. Shaffer practices family medicine in the Davenport area.
