Spirited swinging spurs scholarships

DMU’s inaugural unified Golf Benefit on May 22 was a great success, despite sometimes drizzly weather, thanks to its 77 golfers, lighthearted competition and a great cause – to raise funds for students in all three University colleges and programs. Gifts and pledges to the event grossed more than $58,000. “This is great news for our students and for DMU,” says Ronnette Vondrak, director of alumni relations.
