Huang was recognized with the Values in Action Award on March 21, 2013, by St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA, for exemplifying a commitment to justice. The award is presented to an individual who advocates for systems and structures attuned to the needs of the vulnerable and disadvantaged and promotes a sense of community among all persons. This is the second award given to Huang this year.
