Goldberger was presented the award of fellow by the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, an honor based on contributions to the profession, leadership and publications. Goldberger also competed at the 2012 World Triathlon Championships in New Zealand as part of Team USA, finishing 24th in his age group. He is a practicing orthopedic surgeon with Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute in Freehold, NJ.
