Sassani has joined Physicians Regional Medical Group in Bonita Springs, FL. He completed his first residency in internal medicine at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, and his second residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, PA. He is a certified diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and is certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Internal Medicine.
