Commander Nicki S. Tarant, D.O.’97

Tarant recently completed a deployment lasting more than six months in the Helmand Province in Afghanistan. She was the senior American anesthesiologist at Camp Bastion, a British-run coalition hospital adjacent to Camp Leatherneck, the busiest trauma center in Afghanistan.
