Best memory of DMU

Graduation day. Being hooded and earning the title of doctor was fulfilling yet humbling. I was the first in my family to attend medical school; with this honor came a great sense of accomplishment and responsibility.

Why I stay involved with DMU

Numerous reasons really … the staff and students, a sense of loyalty, and a desire to give back to the institution that has provided me with the tools for success in a career I truly love.

Advice to those just starting out in the profession

Be compassionate and treat all patients as though they are family.

Hobbies

Time with my wife and daughters, church, triathlons, and sailing.
