The First-Year Alumni Mentoring Program, part of the Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences Alumni Sharing Knowledge program, is designed to pair new DMU students with dedicated alumni who have graduated within the last decade.
The mentoring program will assist first-year students in navigating the transition to medical and health sciences education, providing general knowledge on a one-to-one basis. This program is not designed to provide job shadowing or clinical experience.
To sign up as an alumni mentor for the First-Year Alumni Mentoring Program, complete the form below. Once completed, your information will be stored until a mentoring partnership match is made. At that time, we will notify you about next steps and securing the first meeting with your mentee.
