Des Moines University Names 2026 Commencement Speaker

George Rust, MD, MPH, FAAFP, FACPM, author of โ€œHealing in a Changing America: Doctoring in a Nation of Needless Suffering,โ€ย willย deliver the keynote addressย atย Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciencesโ€™ย 2026 Commencement ceremonyย in May.ย

One Day for DMU Raises More Than $220,000

The Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences community came together for the eighth annual One Day for DMU campaign โ€” held from noon Wednesday, April 22, to noon Thursday, April 23 โ€” raising an impressiveย $222,612ย fromย 278ย individual donors in just 24 hours.ย

Ryan Enerson, PT, DPT, has joined the providers at the Des Moines University Clinic โ€” Physical Therapy. Enerson will practice at the Des Moines University Clinic in the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex at 6500 Grand Ave., West Des Moines.
