Continuing Medical Education

Des Moines University Continuing Medical Education (DMU CME) provides educational programs for healthcare professionals in an environment that supports research and scholarly activities achieving the highest level of excellence.

DMU CME offers a variety of educational activities, including but not limited to: live symposiums, single or multi-topic seminars and workshops, enduring materials, roundtable discussions, journal-based education, simulations and regularly scheduled series. CME activities will seek partnerships with other health-related entities to expand the scope of learning as it relates to the target audiences’ practice. Educational modalities will include lectures, demonstrations, panel discussions, workshops and formal and informal discussions with experts, etc.

DMU CME incorporates the latest technology available to assure all interested attendees are able to participate in continuing education activities via webcast, video conferencing and other methods of remote participation.
