After MidAmerican’s survey of the building’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, the University separated those systems of Ryan’s anatomy lab from the rest of the building. The company paid for the survey and issued the University the $152,346 rebate.
“In addition, we’re going to save $50,000 a year in utility costs,” McNerney says. “That goes on forever, basically.”
