Kaaren R. Olesen, D.O.’97, M.H.A.

Dr. Olesen opened the Women’s Care Clinic in Urbandale, IA, which provides gynecological care with an emphasis on menopause and perimenopause, in February. Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, she offers – in addition to the traditional fee-for-service insurance model – concierge services in which patients pay a monthly or yearly fee for extended appointments and access to the doctor including cell phone consultations. Olesen also is an assistant professor of specialty medicine at DMU.
