We spent the morning inputting the last of the patients’ files online. In the afternoon, we drove to a nearby town – Valle De Los Angeles. We got to enjoy lunch at local restaurants. Most meals were Honduran-style BBQ meats. We walked around, appreciating the mosaics along most of the city walls. Upon closer inspection of these beautiful walls, we realized they were not made of tile; they were actually composed of recycled materials like old bottles and plastic bottle caps.

As we explored this small town, we stumbled across small local shops. Many of us left with souvenirs in hand, such as Honduran coffee, handmade bracelets, embroidered bags, pieces of art or pottery.
