The Des Moines University Physical Therapy Clinic was honored by clinic administration with a certificate of excellence for an outstanding 2012-2013 fiscal year. The PT Clinic was recognized for boosting the number of patient visits, increasing the number of faculty who regularly provide care, providing community education for pelvic floor conditions and fall prevention and continually engaging with previous patients in the promotion of health and fitness. Clinic staff provided services at many community events throughout the year, including the Junior Select Triathlon Camp, Des Moines Marathon and Triad Gymnastic Winter Classic.
