Pumpkin pride

PumpkinsFall is in full swing and if you are looking for something to do this weekend to get you in the mood, a trip to a local pumpkin patch might be just right!

Howell’s โ€“ A family favorite, they have pony rides, goats, a corn maze and tractor rides. They also have a gift shop & snacks for sale. Admission for all of the attractions is $7.

Patchโ€™sย โ€“ $5 admission includes a petting zoo, play center, corn maze, pumpkin cannon & tractor hayrack rides.

Geisler Farms – Enjoy some fall fun – playground, corn maze, hayrides and of course, pumpkins!

Pumpkinvilleย โ€“ Cornmaze, farm animals, straw jump, train & other kid activities, campfires by reservation, hayrack rides on weekends and more will provide hours of fun!

Center Groveย – $7.95 Monday – Thursday, and $9.95 Friday – Sunday gets you into a corn maze or pool, pedal tractors, hayrack rides on weekends, apple sling shot & more. (You can get your apples here too!) They are hosting โ€œPumpkin Festโ€ this weekend.

Now that you have your pumpkin it’s time to carve it! We here in the marketing department have created some DMU carving templates just for you. Send us a picture of your DMU themed pumpkin and we’ll create an album of the finished products on our Facebook page.
