Great pass rates!

In 2010, Des Moines University’s podiatric medicine graduates had a 96 percent pass rate on the American Board of Podiatric Surgery board certification exam. The national average was 73 percent.

Between 2003 and 2009, the average national pass rate was 80.3 percent. For DMU graduates it was 90.3 percent.

“This is a test administered after completion of residency training. We consider these strong numbers a great indicator that our students are all receiving excellent training while at DMU to prepare them for the field and for boards,” said R. Tim Yoho, dean of the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
