The DMU campus is a close-knit, collaborative environment that allows students to learn and share ideas while enjoying themselves and forging lifelong friendships. DMU offers many opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities. Countless student clubs and organization, as as well as intramural sports, to help students take a break from studying.

Student life at Des Moines University is as diverse as the students themselves. On campus and off, there is a wealth of events and activities to expand your educational, social and service opportunities.

The campus itself has been designed with students in mind. We strive to make students feel at home. The new Student Education Center features comfortable, informal study areas, a student lounge, coffee bar and cafe. It has even been dubbed DMU’s living room.
