Remote and secure physical therapy care

Secure, virtual visits are an excellent option while you are home during the COVID-19 pandemic. We can continue your rehabilitation plan or address new concerns. Receive help in the progression of your exercise program, consult on your office set-up and how to manage your condition while at home. The physical therapist will listen to your concern and assess how you move using the video telecommunication.

You can receive physical therapy care in the safety, comfort and convenience of home with a virtual appointment with one of our therapists. It is advised to have a quiet location that is private. Wearing clothing that allows movement and space to move may be necessary, depending upon your condition.

How are services provided?

The visit is provided using a secure HIPPA compliant video conference. A link will be emailed to you to join the website Doxy.me for the virtual visit. You will need to give the program permission to use the microphone and web cam so it is essential that you click “Agree” when prompted. Type your name in when you arrive at the website to “check in”. If you have difficulty, you may view this video.

If you do not have access to a smart phone, iPad or computer for a video conference, we can also do an electronic or E-Visit through a telephone call. This has also been beneficial for many patients that have questions on how to progress or need clarification on an exercise program.
