Hailey Huey, D.P.T., M.H.A., joined the Des Moines University Clinic — Physical Therapy, 3200 Grand Ave., as a physical therapist and assistant professor in 2023. Previously, she was a physical therapist and clinic director at Pleasant Hill Physical Therapy in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.

Huey’s clinical interests include treating individuals of all ages for orthopedic conditions, pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, dry needling, infant torticollis, pediatric developmental delay and balance impairment. As an avid climber, Huey also has a unique perspective in treating rock climbing-related injuries.

A member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its Iowa Chapter, Huey is a past director of the chapter’s Southwest District. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in health and exercise science at Colorado State University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Health Care Administration degrees at DMU.
